I am a UX researcher/ designer/ developer with a background in user support. My educational background in Computer Science, Web Development, and Psychology, helps me bridge developers and users by communicating in both layman’s and technical terms.

Why all the lotuses?

I love lotus flowers. Not only does my real name (Nalini) mean Lotus, but I connect to their symbolism.

In many cultures, Lotus flowers represent self regeneration and rebirth in addition to purity and enlightenment. Many sources call attention to the fact that it is a beautiful flower not only surviving but thriving in the dirtiest waters.

L-UX: Shining a light on designs and ideas

Hello Friends and welcome to my blog! In this blog I will share my perspective on my thoughts surrounding the broad category of user experience.

The name is a play on words based on my first initial being L and me being a UX designer. Additionally both Lena and Lux are terms relating to light so the shining a light is a play on this idea.
